Welcome
The Humanist Society of Redding emphasizes
ethical and responsible behavior. Our group is committed to advocating a
naturalistic approach to our daily lives. We strive through our programs
and projects to make the world a better place, with justice and equal
rights for all.
As humanists, we believe all supernatural
beliefs to be irrelevant and instead prefer to be guided by reason,
informed personal experience and compassion for all life forms on the
planet.

Upcoming Meetings
On Sunday, February 5, at 1:00 p.m., we
will be celebrating Darwin Day with a potluck lunch and a film, "Charles Darwin and the
Tree of Life." The film will be followed by a lecture
and discussion. Bring finger food or something that's easy to eat
while sitting in a chair and watching a film! We'll also have a
birthday cake.
